Nebraska atlas

Thank you for your interest in the Official State Atlas of Nebraska... Everts & Kirk, 1885. The abridged digital Atlas data is presented in Adobe (PDF) Portable Document Format. All of the 1885 Nebraska county maps are included on this CD, as are 297 city and village plat maps from this period. Examples of some of the Atlas pages and the table of contents can be viewed by following the links below.

Individual county maps are useful for identifying 1885 Nebraska transportation routes, railroads, canals, streams and rivers, cities, towns and villages, and early Nebraska place names. One-room schoolhouses, churches, cemeteries, and other 19th century features are also included in the county maps.

The 297 Nebraska city and village plat maps in the Atlas are detailed with some early property owners identified; industrial sites including a variety of stores, factories and mills; State and local government sites: court houses, churches, schools, fair grounds, asylums & hospitals; and much more.
